Adding a High Ability License to an existing Indiana Teaching License

Licensed Indiana educators who complete the certificate program are eligible to add an Indiana High Ability License to their existing teaching license through the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE). To do so they must complete the following:

• Successfully pass the Indiana CORE Assessment for High Ability (testing fee applies)
• Contact Purdue’s Office of Professional Preparation and Licensure at licensure@purdue.edu or (765) 494-2345 regarding:
  • Completion of a Transcript Evaluation (evaluation fee applies)
  • Submission of an Indiana License Application (application fee applies)
