• 15 to 18 credit hours of course work in gifted education
Required courses (all are 3 credit courses):
EDPS 540Y - Gifted, Creative, and Talented Children
EDPS 542Y - Curriculum and Program Development in Gifted Education
EDPS 545Y - Social and Affective Development of Gifted Students
EDPS 695Y - Practicum in Gifted Education - EDPS 540Y, 542Y, 545Y are all prerequisites
One (or two for individuals requiring 18 credits) elective(s):
EDPS 543, 544, 590, 591, 631, and others (SEMESTERS VARY)
These courses can be applied to a Masters in Educational Psychology degree at Purdue University.
