Summer Residential Program

Summer 2016 registration for GERI Summer Residential Camp begins February 1st, 2016. 2016 Course Brochure available January 1st.

Get excited!  Camp is almost here!  We are making final preparations for your arrival and know this summer will be the best summer yet!  As you prepare, please remember the important information that follows.

The Welcome Letter you received upon your acceptance to the GERI program contains valuable information.  Please refer to it as often as needed.

This link contains basic information about "What to Bring" (and what NOT to bring) to camp.  Please note that all bedding and towels will be provided by the dorm and that all medications brought from home must be in their original containers.  Also, please pack clothing that meets the new GERI dress code (contained in the attached "Participant Expectation Agreement" file).

Registration will be held in Earhart Hall from 10:30 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. on the first Sunday of each program.  Earhart Hall is located at 1275 First Street, West Lafayette, IN 47906-4231.  If you would like to send mail to your camper during the program, please use this address.

Summertime is construction time at Purdue, and this summer's construction projects are everywhere!  If you would like to check out the road closures on campus, please visit this site:https://www.purdue.edu/physicalfacilities/images/construction-map/travel-impact-map.pdf.  If you zoom in far enough, you will find Earhart Hall at the corner of First Street and McArthur Drive on the left-hand side.

If your camper has special dietary needs due to allergies, religious practices, or other restrictions/preferences, please contact Cara Powell at cmpowell@purdue.edu or call her at 765-496-3749.  Please identify your camper, the GERI program, and the specific camp and dates of attendance when you call.

If you have arranged for GERI transportation for your child from the Indianapolis airport, Anne Gray will meet him/her in the airport food court area near Starbucks.  Ann will also meet unaccompanied minors as they disembark at the gate as well as long as you let us know that this is your (and/or the airline's) wish.  The GERI transportation fee of $60.00 should have been paid with your deposit.  If not, please send this in as soon as possible.  IMPORTANT: So that we know your arrival and departure plans, please submit your camper's flight information at the following link, even if you have provided us with this information already.  This way, we can double-check our records! :-)

If you have not submitted the forms sent to you with your Welcome Letter, please submit those as soon as possible.
